DESCRIPTION
Ticoprene is a one-component chlorinated rubber primer pigmented with aluminium flakes, an all-purpose primer for the marine environment, suitable for maintenance painting of wood and steel boat hulls and structures. It can be applied also to zinc primers as well as to one-pack and two-component primers. Well suited as a sealer for old antifoulings. Ticoprene provides good protection to parts immersed in salt and fresh water.

Painting Cycles

  1. 1 coat of Adherglass (DFT 15 μm) or
    1 coat of Ticoprene(DFT 60 μm) and
    1 coat of Gelprime (DFT 45 μm)
  2. 2 coats of Easylac (DFT 40 μm) or
    2 coats of Unigloss (DFT 40 μm)*
    *add Antiskid Powder or Antiskid Powder CF for the deck
  3. 1 coat of Adherglass (DFT 15 μm) or
    1 coat of Ticoprene (DFT 60 μm)
  4. 2 coats of Antifouling paint (DFT 50 μm)

The indicated thickness refers to a single coat.

  1. 1 coat of Gelprime (DFT 45 μm)
  2. 2 coats of Easylac (DFT 40 μm, ) or
    2 coats of Unigloss (DFT 40 μm)*
    *add Antiskid Powder or Antiskid Powder CF for the deck
  3. 1/3 coats of Ticoprene (DFT 60 μm)
  4. 2 coats of Antifouling paint (DFT 50 μm)

The indicated thickness refers to a single coat.
