Veneziani Yachting is proud to support the PoliMi Sailing Team, a group of students from the Politecnico di Milano who design and build competitive sailing boats.

Supporting these young talents means believing in the future of yachting and in the ability of new generations to reinterpret it with responsibility and advanced technology. Veneziani has contributed its expertise and solutions in the field of coatings for hull protection and performance, playing a role in the development of the team’s new prototype: Altea.

The boat was unveiled during the SuMoth Challenge in Malcesine, on Lake Garda. Altea proved to be the winner in both the design and construction phases, while also remaining among the leaders during the racing stage. The combination of these achievements led the PoliMi Sailing Team to claim Overall Victory in the competition, which featured 15 universities from around the world.

Another concrete step in our ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of yachting and the pursuit of increasingly eco-friendly solutions.
