It's a good feeling to have a high quality brand like Veneziani on board my boat. When you think of ant-ifouling paints, "Veneziani" immediately springs to mind. I keep Speedy Carbonium on my Mini 6.50. It's excellent for racing boats - it stays smooth, and is also a great anti-fouling paint for when you have to keep the boat on dry land.
In highly competitive events like the Mini Transat you need to choose the best products you can find. I have known about Speedy Carbonium for a long time and have always been impressed by its anti-fouling properties and the finish it gives. When I got in touch with Veneziani, they responded immediately with a visit to EdiliziAcrobatica and carried out some testing of new compounds.
Veneziani products have allowed us to have a lighter, much faster and much more efficient boat with less drag. Competing around the world gives me the opportunity to meet other teams and discuss technical issues. We often disagree about various products and materials, but when it comes to paints there is one name on which we all agree: Veneziani. Its products cater for every need, and since they are the first choice for us sportsmen, we also have them on our cruise ships, where certain Veneziani products make a big difference. It's a shining example of passion for business based on strong local roots, and the Italian Yacht Club has begun a fruitful technical collaboration with it. The Group supports us in all our activities. This includes important sporting events, such as the relaunch of the Bartolomeo Boero Challenge Trophy, dedicated to its founder, which is awarded to the Ligurian sailing club with the best performance in our much loved Millevele regatta.

International Success
Veneziani’s anti-fouling paint proved effective, gaining the attention of naval forces, particularly the British, for its ability to prevent the proliferation of algae and other marine organisms.
Expansion in England
In 1903, the first overseas anti-fouling factory was opened in England, in Chatan, directed by Ettore Smitz (alias Italo Svevo), Veneziani’s son-in-law.

In the new millennium, Veneziani Yachting launched Speedy Carbonium, an anti-fouling designed for racing yachts that, thanks to its high carbon concentration, ensures high performance.
